Besides sharing that sweet vintage card (above) that I found at an antique store over the weekend, I've also decided to have a giveaway! Last week Nanette started a blogging purse exchange, but since I don't have any bags to give away I thought why not give away a pair of earrings?
To enter to win, leave a comment below (enter only once, please) telling me about your favorite Valentine's Day before midnight Reno time on Friday, Jan. 22. (And, if I don't have it, please also leave a way for me to contact you). I will choose a winner on Saturday using a random number generator (yes, there's an app for that) and send them in time for you to wear (or gift!) on Valentine's Day.
I look forward to reading your comments!
***Update: Melynda wins the earrings! I will mail them to you sometime this week.***

Oooh these are gogeous but I don't think it would be right for me to ask for them-then it wouldn't be paying it forward. I am happy for the lucky gal who gets to wear them. :)
I will have to think of something to pay forward!!! My favorite Valentine's Day is not the one where Edward and I broke up, but it happens to be Valentine's Day of 2005. Edward and I were engaged to be married and I was teaching that day. He sent me tulips (our wedding flower in the right colors) to my work. I got them in front of my whole class and of course started crying. The card simply said "I can't wait to marry you".
I'll have to agree with Melynda on this one that my favorite Valentine's Day was not the one that Daniel broke up with me on. It would have to be the one in 2004when the boys surprised us with a trip to Vegas. They packed for us and blindfolded us when they drove us to the airport. They had everything planned even a place picked out to have dinner in the Belagio.
Oooh, those are gorgeous! My favorite Valentine's Day was last year when Tom and I spent it touring breweries in Carlsbad, CA. He felt so guilty we were doing all of the things he wanted to do that when we sat down for a quick lunch and I thought he went to the restroom, he actually ran across the parking lot to a florist and came back to the table with roses for me.
These are great stories, girls. Thanks for playing!
Yes!!! I am so excited!
