Since last month, my Honda has
received a new windshield, a new set of tires, new front brakes and (
drumroll please) a new transmission! And by the end of next month, she will be mine all mine. (Wait, is anything all mine anymore? Maybe it's ours? I'm still fuzzy on the details of this marriage thing.)
Anywho, I figured since she's gonna be around a while, maybe I should give her a name ... maybe then she'll feel appreciated and quit acting up so much. What do you think? Cupcake? Goldilocks?
GoldenEye?
GabelMobile? The USS
Gabel? Michael Phelps? Treasure of the Sierra
Madre (wait - was that book about gold or silver)? Leave your suggestions in the comments ... the winner will receive the satisfaction of knowing they picked the name for my car ;) (And, you should know up front that even though my car is gold I will not refer to it as a 49er, so don't even bother suggesting that.)

Goldie Hawn? The Golden Fleet? I don't know, it's just nobody else commented yet so I wanted to get in on it asap ;)

I call my 2006 Mazda3 my purse, since enevitably, all my odds and ends find their way into it. :) I just paid off my lease and made it my own last month so I share your joy. I vote you name it Lemon Drop. :)
Ooh ooh! Or HoneyBun just like in South Pacific!
Golda Meir...

Here are my suggestions:
Coche Oro
Gabels with the Golden Car
Au
Jewel
This is in response to a previous blog, the one about Ellen's face poping up all over the place when you were in DC. I just watch the Ellen episode from the day after the inguration and that was Ellen's DJ. She was asking people to send in there pictures from the inguration, you should check it out. You were so close, it sounded like her DJ got there too late and was turned away, he watched it on TV at a bar. Just a thought.
My Honda, the sister to your car and whose loving memory we keep, was called La Honda. If you want that name, I would be more than happy to share it. Also, in memory of the doll arms, you could call her Dolly.
