Okay, so I realize this is no extraordinary feat. But it is exciting for two reasons: one, because it was the first time I made sauce instead of using a jar. And two, because in the middle of the week I was able to make dinner for my wonderful husband two nights in a row! (If you count reheating leftover chicken and making new sides as making dinner. Which I do.) Tomorrow it's back to the late shift. Bah.

Nice! I should send you Miguel's mom's Bolognese sauce recipe, it's awesome and is great for leftovers.
What other recipes from the Gebel Family Cookbook have you tried?
Funny you should ask ... Grammie's honey oatmeal muffins are about to come out of the oven - and they smell really, really good!
I thought spaghetti sauce ONLY came in a jar. There is another way?
