Our friend Vickie has a birthday this Saturday. We had been planning to have a joint celebration this weekend, until she found out she has to go to D.C. for work :(
So, we decided to surprise her with a little celebration last night. First, we went to dinner, and they brought her some cake.
And then, because you can never have too much dessert on your birthday, there were cupcakes. It was the first time I made mini cupcakes and I was pretty excited. I also love any occasion where I get to use my handy-dandy Martha Stewart cupcake carrier, gifted to us for the wedding :)
