In Japan, there are vending machines everywhere. Really, everywhere. Inside businesses, out on the sidewalk.

Most often you'll see vending machines with beverages.

But sometimes, you'll see cigarette vending machines, or machines that sell food. Hot food. Crazy.

Other times, when you go to a restaurant, instead of giving your order to a person, you punch it in on a machine.

How completely crazy! Did you have any of the Hot Food from a vending machine?
We didn't - just ordered from one. But I understand Michelle had a hot dog out of a vending machine on base one time!
Yes and that hot dog was good. Better than that crap one I bought on Fuji. Ick.
