This morning I got up bright and early to take pictures of people in their pajamas at The Great Reno Balloon Race for work. If it wasn't assigned, I probably wouldn't have gotten out of bed at 5 a.m. for it, but I'm glad I did. It was really cool to watch all the balloons fill up and take flight as the sun came up. Unfortunately, I ran into some battery issues and couldn't use my cameras (luckily I had enough pictures for work, but I would have liked to have gotten more) so these shots I got from my work cell phone. What do you think the odds are I can get Chris to go?

Nice photos of balloons, but my real reason for posting here is to point to Nebraska's victory today over San Jose State.

I would have engaged in some pregame trash talk this week, but I was not aware that the teams actually were playing until I saw the score today. I'm not a very good fan anymore.
Anyway, Nebraska proudly stands behind the fact that its $80 million football program can defeat a school that says its city is a state.
It's okay Jeffrey. I can handle the San Jose State trash talk today, the day the Dodgers took first place away from the D-backs.

Ahh, I miss the balloon races, the trips to 7 11 to get hot cocoa, the blankets, and then the getting back to one of our houses to have a morning "sleepover" and later brunch. Good memories, thank you.
